The JuzoPro Malleo Xtec Strong ankle orthosis stabilises the ankle while limiting talar shift at the same time. Talar shift is a consequence of fibular ligament damage, of the anterior talofibular ligament in particular, resulting in increased displacement of the talar bone. In order to limit talar shift and therefore to stabilise the ankle again, the JuzoPro Malleo Xtec Strong features a diagonal pronation strap.

Using body heat, the three-dimensional inlay ensures even pressure distribution perfectly adapts to the wearer’s anatomy. Furthermore, the product can be fully opened for donning so the damaged structures are not subjected to additional strain. This sturdy yet thin ankle orthosis can be worn in most low shoes.
