The A.P.B.® (All Purpose Hi Boot) is a closed toe boot used for the treatment of the diabetic and insensitive foot or as a post-operative boot and is available in black in either a flat or rocker sole version. Both versions are bi-lateral but have slightly different closure techniques.
The flat version has a fixed dorsal flap with a left to right hook and loop closure. The rocker version uses the strapless fastening system (i.e. as with the OrthoWedge) which can be completely removed and rotated to provide a left or right overlap thus giving a truly universal appearance.
Both boots have an additional ankle strap to give further comfortable fitting.
The high upper and deep opening make room for bulky dressings and accommodate most fibreglass casts. The boot is completely closed and water-repellant and keeps dressings and toes warm and dry.
