The AirLoc Ankle Brace is designed to stabilise the ankle and prevent it twisting, which can lead to ligament sprains. It is suitable for acute capsular ligament injuries, chronic instability, postoperative rehabilitation and relapse prevention. It stabilizes the outer capsular ligaments of the upper ankle, counteracting ankle twisting.
The AirLoc consists of anatomically contoured, elastic plastic shells with an integral air bladder system. The inflatable cushions exert an intermittent compression massage on the tissue around the ankle and guarantee maximum wearing comfort all day long. The plastic shells are anatomically contoured and therefore fit the foot comfortably, while inflatable air cushions allow the orthosis to be adjusted to the degree of swelling.
